Custom Western Red Cedar pavilions with a real roof, built for the days a pergola can’t cover.
What Sets Us Apart
Cedar Pavilions
A pergola filters the sun. A pavilion beats the weather. When you want the backyard usable in a July downpour, a cold October night, or the dead heat of August, you want a roof over your head and cedar over that. Our pavilions are the room your family uses when every other outdoor space is rained out. Sunday with the game on under cover. Dinner outside while it storms. The one structure that does not care what the forecast says.
The Structure
A pavilion is a different animal than a pergola. It carries a full roof, so it is built like it. Heavy timber framing, real structural cedar, the joinery and load paths to hold up under snow load and wind. We engineer each one to your site and your span. The result reads as solid because it is, posts and beams sized to do the job for decades, not to look the part for a season.
All Season
Every pavilion starts as a conversation about how you want to live under it. Gabled or pitched, open or screened, a fan and lights wired in, a kitchen run beneath it. We design to your home and build it on site, by hand. No kits. No prefab trusses dropped from a catalog.
The roof is the point, so we get it right. Proper pitch, proper drainage, a ceiling you will actually want to look up at. We stain the cedar to your color and apply it before install, or let it age to that deep natural gray.
And you deal with the builder the whole way. Brian has been framing structures like these for over twenty years, licensed and hands-on, from the first site visit to the final walkthrough.
Ways To Live Outside
A cedar pavilion gives you a real roof outside. Cook, dine, and gather through every season, rain or shine, across the Upstate.
How It Works
Four steps. Twenty years of practice. One disciplined outcome.
We start with a conversation about your space, your vision, and your budget.
Every structure is drawn to your exact specifications. Scale, style, and materials all considered.
Our licensed craftsmen build on site using only Western Red Cedar. No pre-fab kits.
Every structure leaves with a one-year warranty on materials and craftsmanship.
Ready When You Are
A pavilion is the most permanent thing you can add to a yard short of an addition. Done right, it becomes the room everyone ends up in, in every season. If a cedar pergola or an outdoor kitchen is part of the picture, we build those too, often under the same roof. See the portfolio, then schedule a consultation.
